Account information
When you register, we store your name, email, and a securely hashed password. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Connected identity providers may supply your name, email, and avatar.
Your learning workspace
We store completed lessons, challenge submissions, profile preferences, bookmarks, and saved programs in PostgreSQL. We use this information to show your progress and reopen your work.
Shared programs
Sharing creates a link that anyone with the link can open. Do not put passwords, API keys, or personal information in shared code. Private saved programs require your account.
Code execution
Python and JavaScript practice runs in an isolated browser workspace. Verified submissions and compiled-language requests are sent to a separate isolated execution service. The editor and Python runtime load from a CDN.
